Incoming for Training (STT)

Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training (STT) – Incoming Staff

Accademia di Belle Arti di Palermo welcomes Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training (STT) proposals from academic and administrative staff from partner institutions. The programme provides an opportunity to exchange knowledge, strengthen international cooperation and promote professional development within a creative and interdisciplinary environment.

We particularly encourage well-structured mobility proposals that go beyond job shadowing or observation and contribute to building meaningful and lasting institutional relationships.

Priority is given to training activities that:

  • foster new international collaborations and long-term partnerships;
  • promote the exchange of good practices based on shared experiences and common institutional challenges;
  • explore innovative approaches to teaching, artistic production, research or academic management;
  • encourage experimental disciplinary alignments and interdisciplinary dialogue;
  • generate outcomes that can be transferred to both institutions and benefit their wider academic communities.

Training Activities

Training mobility may include job shadowing, workshops, seminars, study visits, collaborative project development and other professional learning activities agreed upon by the sending and host institutions.

Before the mobility begins, participants are required to submit a Mobility Agreement outlining the objectives, planned activities, expected learning outcomes and duration of the visit.

Support and Integration

The Academy provides incoming staff with:

  • administrative and academic support before and during the mobility;
  • orientation on the Academy’s organisation, facilities and services;
  • assistance in planning meetings and training activities;
  • access to workshops, laboratories, libraries and other institutional facilities where appropriate.

Incoming staff may also participate in cultural initiatives organised by the Academy and, where available, attend the free Italian language course offered to Erasmus+ participants.

Building Sustainable Partnerships

Staff training mobility is considered an important opportunity to strengthen the Academy’s international network. We particularly value mobilities that create opportunities for future joint initiatives, including collaborative research, artistic projects, workshops, staff exchanges and the sharing of innovative practices.

By encouraging reciprocal learning and long-term cooperation, Erasmus+ STT contributes to the continuous international development of both the Accademia di Belle Arti di Palermo and its partner institutions.

We look forward to welcoming you at the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo.
