Erasmus+ Study Mobility – Incoming Students
Accademia di Belle Arti di Palermo welcomes Erasmus+ and Free Mover students wishing to spend a study period at the Academy. Incoming mobility offers students the opportunity to attend courses, develop artistic skills in an international environment and obtain academic recognition through the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), equivalent to the Academy’s CFA credits.
Application Requirements
Students must submit the required documentation within the deadlines established by the Academy, including:
- Online Application Form (or paper application form);
- Learning Agreement, signed by the home and host institutions, indicating the study programme and the ECTS credits to be recognised;
- Curriculum Vitae;
- Portfolio of artistic work;
- Motivation letter.
Before arrival, the Learning Agreement must be approved by both institutions and include the proposed study plan and the corresponding ECTS credits.
Academic Recognition
Course attendance is compulsory. Academic recognition is granted only for courses successfully completed through the required examinations. At the end of the mobility period, the Academy issues a Transcript of Records, listing the completed courses, grades obtained and the corresponding ECTS credits. The transcript is normally sent to the partner institution within 45 days after the examination period.
Welcome and Student Support
The Academy provides comprehensive support before and during the mobility period, including:
- orientation and welcome activities before the beginning of classes;
- information on courses, Academy facilities and student services;
- access to student benefits and local services.
The Academy also offers free Italian language courses for incoming students during both semesters. Please note that we do not offer courses in English.
